The Duels should be very interesting this year with the new cars, lowered weight, and all the driver shuffles!!!! Qualifying will be very important, definitely a big plus to start the 500 from up front and stay away from the mid-pack mess!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

YEP! It's going to start off as a very interesting year! I wonder how close the car will be at the end of the season from it's starting point? Did NASCAR get it right from the start?

Absolutely like it!!!! The top 35 rule has kept a lot of good teams out of a lot of races, really glad to see it done away with finally! I'm not really crazy about the past champions provisional thing either, and also some changes for the shootout or whatever they call it now....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I agree, still never figured out why they keep a provisional for a past champ. If your not the current champ, then why the preferential treatment? I'd actually like it if everyone had to race their way in during the time trials, (not counting Daytona).

Maybe you're right!! Those Tee Shirt sales probably feed the family of 4 when at a peak of popularity!
At least Bill was a multiple time winner and Champion in the series... Jr??? - not really what I'd call successful in the series. In any event, NASCAR made a change, and we know how they struggle to shake things up! HAH!
