BEAUTIFUL CARS!!! Post your favorites!
Here is one that is always a top choice for me....
The 1953-55 Studebaker! After 60 years, it is still more sleek than most cars on the road today! :-)~srop_0802_01_z+ciappa_coupe+1953_studebaker_starlite_coupe.jpg170649_11050482_1953_Studebaker_Champion.jpg

I've always loved those Studebakers. When I was in the age range of 9 to about 14 one of the "older guys" up the street who was about 20'ish y.o. had one very much like your pic except it was a blue color; nosed, decked, a few other custom touches; with a mildly worked 327 that sounded awesome every time he cruised up our little street.
I was born in 1949 so I'm still thinking of building something around a '49 something or other. Maybe a nice Caddy like this one:

Those first two really are top picks for me too . There are so many and funnily enough, some of the ugliest makes now have an appeal that stirs my fire, eg the Nash 2 Door . here is a photo of still one of my favourite models.2011_chrr_saturday_073.jpgI maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

My dream car has always been the 56. Now it's done and it gets driven every chance I get. 30,000 in the last three years.
LS1 powered and downright comfortable to drive.

How do you pick a 'beautiful car' when there were so many (pre econoboxes). I think it depends on the day which is the most beautiful in my eyes. This was probably one of my all time favorites as I had a 390/325 GT version identical to this one which I purchased new:

Or like this '64 Grand Prix I owned identical to this one:

There are many customs or rods which are very beautiful - but unique. Some are nice, others beyond comprehension, both good and otherwiseLast edited by IC2; 03-17-2013 at 05:47 AM.

Dave, my Grandson would kill for that GT - - - he's just about ready for his first Ride and his Dad (my first born) are hoping to build it together as he and I did his first back in the 70's. It may not be a muscle ride but hopefully it will be way cool and keep him interested in the Older Iron..

I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
