Nick, like you I have thousands of pictures on PB, and they made the mistake of sending out a feedback form so I gave them some. My issue is I have a few albums with a thousand pictures EACH. TO find a picture toward the end of that album, I would have to scroll through the complete album to get there, many times the computer locking up trying to load all those pictures. The previous version had page number options for selection which disappeared in the new version. Well my complaints seemed to have paid off as the page number selection inside the albums is back. The point of all this rambling is that they seem to be listening to the feedback, so use that as an option as well..Last edited by MP&C; 03-24-2013 at 09:12 PM.

Since I last posted in this thread it seems to me Photobucket has made some adjustments, plus I'm sure part of it is me getting used to it. But last couple days I uploaded about 150 pics and a vid and it all worked smoothly and no surprises.
Like Robert mentioned a couple posts above, a few days ago and earlier I had to keep scrolling down through large albums which I found annoying. But now I see they have them on pages again, which I much prefer for the reasons mentioned.
Derek,
Thanks for reaching out to your customers and trying to offer help even if not personalized. I'm going to stick with it and see how it goes.Nick

Roger, I have a "plus" membership which is not free. I chose to upgrade a couple years ago when I was running out of free space. Here's what they say about them and may I bring your attention to the most important point about "Plus" category members: "...you rock"

There are a couple forums that I frequent (well one now) that need PB or similar to post pictures, my dedicated brand RV forum. I'm thinking now one of my two external 320gb hard drives will be able to keep my photos ready for posting - except the one with photos is messy and needs a major purging of junk files. Once you figure it out, even CHR has a decent photo posting programDave W
I am now gone from this forum for now - finally have pulled the plug

Yeah, about the only reason I use "the 'bucket" is for the image file feature, allowing me to post up to 35 pictures on a post if I want, like show shots. A friend of mine uses a different hosting system for his primary photo storage means, organized so that others can look at his albums, along with descriptions of many photos. That's too much work for me, and I really don't see that it's smart to post family pictures in a public host environment where anyone can copy images and use them for other things.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
