Nikon 9100.PNG Nick - since Roger started the Pick-on-Nick ramble, here's a nice $329 camera that I got from B&H Photo for less then $100. It was called 'reconditioned' but is in actuality, a brand new camera but a left over when it was superseded by a newer model. It takes beautiful photos and have to say one heluva lot lighter then either of my two big 5# DSLRs with big glass. It fits in my pocket nicely. Only complaint - point and shoot shutter lag as 99% seem to have but still w-a-a-y better then my wife's P&S CanonDave W
I am now gone from this forum for now - finally have pulled the plug

Wow, that seems like a good deal on that Nikon. One of my older digital cameras that I always liked is a Nikon Coolpix 7900 but I wish it was half as big as it is. We have a few more around the house. Next show & tell I'll step up my photo game for you guys so you stop picking on meNick

I'm using a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX5 12.2 MegaPixel as my "pocket camera'. It takes great photos, and measures only 2x3.5x0.75 and is light as a feather. It replaced my old faithful Nikon CoolPix that took a bath in a boat in Costa Rica and had never been the same....Roger

Now there's a trip I'd love to make in a hot rod with a few of you guys ...down through Mexico and if the bandits don't get us by then we head through all the countries of Central America and into Costa Rica. I worked with a guy a few years ago and when he was laid off he retired and moved to Costa Rica and now lives in a condo over a restaurant/bar across the street from the beach...sounds tough.Nick

You're welcome Dave, as well as you other guys, too.
I just posted in that "what the hell's up with pb" thread in this section since working with all these pics and a vid, as well as a bunch on another forum, I was relieved it went smoothly. I think they've made some adjustments since the new version came out so I'm seeing some work on their part and improvements made, even if the "improvement" is going back to the old way that worked better for me.Nick

On camera's, Canon has a few more days left on their sale pricing for refurbished point & shoot pocket cameras. Scroll down to the bottom and you'll find two or three under $100 that would work great for carrying around a car show - Canon Direct Store - Refurbished PowerShot Digital CamerasRoger

Was there on Saturday with my grandson. Had a few friends that had their cars in the show. One of them was a maroon pro street Vega. He had this car at the Woodward cruise last year.
The show this year was better than last and I hope it continues.
