A long and distinguished list over the years!!!! Mostly sprint cars, some late models and modifides.., then later on a bunch of drag racing, owned most of the drag stuff myself, with the exception being some I drove for Pat Ryan, Bobby Mize, and a few others...
We'll have to get together sometime this summer and see who knows who, still know a bunch of folks involved in racing it's just that they're all a bunch of old farts now!!!!!! Would be fun to spend some time visiting down that way, maybe one of the NASCAR races at the big track east of Des Moines????Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Ok, I am photo insert challenged. I have no clue on how to add a photo from Photobucket so here is a link the the whole album. If someone can post them from there that would be great.
Note: we were herded thru pit road like a bunch of cattle and quite a few of the cars were not even on pit road yet. Went to get closer pictures and was told to stay in the pit box area and don't cross the line to pit road or face being escorted out of the pit area. Jerks!!!!!.

Thanks for the pics, Bug! Sorry your pit pass was nothing more then a pit road walk through, must have just been one of the track tour deals....
BTW, how'd you like to have to pick up the tire bill for one of these teams on a weekend????Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Well, Rusty Wallace is still involved in the track, I think it'll be around! Have to check the schedule for the summer and see when it might work to come down there this year! Good racing whenever the trucks or Nationwide cars are there!
As for Knoxville, it's true that the big board fence in turn 1 and 2 is just as solid as any concrete wall!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
