Sorry for the thread guys.These explosions are so outrageous.I am so pissed that I could help but post it.THIS TIME I WANT A IMMEDIATE BLOOD LETTING RESPONSE.GET THE PLANES IN THE AIR AND LET IT LOOSE.GOD DAMMIT!!!.

Sure are a lot of rumors but I haven't heard anything concrete yet. Has anyone else heard any factual news? I've got a good friend that is working (volunteer) at the Marathon and he hasn't posted on any of the Forums today. Prayers are going out for the people involved, those helping and the families.

Personaly I don't think it was sponcered by any big group or there would have been a lot more injuries (bigger bombs). It is best to wait cool & down. Prayers go out to those involved and there families.

Prayers go out to all those people and their families! This was probably done by some low life POS with no regaurd to anyone else. Like Charlie said, I doubt it was done by a big time out fit. But who knows anymore. If you go on CNN and look at the comments section, it'll just make you more mad. People are clueless anymore!

you bet, Charlie, this is the time to keep a very level head and go on a fact finding mission first

Again I have woken to hear the news about bombs going off killing and harming innocent people, heck, the news brought memories of 9/11 floating back. My prayes go out to the families of those killed and to the injured, the doctors and nurses whom have the task of helping those hurt. As for revenge I think we should all calm down and let the Good Lord Jehovah sort out the wickedness of this world through His Son Christ Jesus.

Absolutely!!!! The last thing that should be done is some knee-jerk reaction and another ill-advised conflict!!! The facts will come out and the guilty INDIVIDUALS will be caught! The thing needed now is a systematic investigation to apprehend the guilty, not some wholesale retaliation!!!

We might as well all face it that in today's age, crap like this can happen any where. Instead of focusing on airports all the time for security purposes, policies and divisions need to be set up to do more look out for the big out takings such as this marathon. Maybe then the money being spent on this type of work would actually be going to it's intended purpose. With that said, we could never catch it all I'm afraid. We better hope these bombs weren't made with water! They'll spend more time trying to make bans on water and make it deadly, not the operators!

I'm keeping my eyes and ears open for follow up reports or clues as to the responsible party/ies, but so far I haven't heard anything reliable about that. My condolences to the victims' families and to the injured, too. My nephew is a doc at one of the Boston hospitals, not sure which one, but he called his mom just as I was on the phone with her talking about this bombing.

Just heard on our 10AM news,that there are two confirmed dead,,and it sounds like someone in hospital with shrapnel wounds,is possibly involved,as they/he/her/it is under police guard..Sorry,it's just what I heard on the news,so i am not sure what the source is..

I didn't think of the care takers who are doing everything they can.I pray for them as well as for the victims.

Robin, a local Bostonian posted on another Forum that there were ball bearings in the bombs and that some of the injured had lost limbs. Don't know how valid but that's what he said.

Well I just heard from my buddy, Mark, that was working the Marathon and here's what he's said so far.


Mark says:
was 25 feet from blast #1..
2 confermed dead one a 8y/o kid
over 100 hurt 50 very very bad, like missing legs, etc.
2 blast happened not long after 1st..

the 3rd was the police setting on the one they found. they have found at least 4 more..
they shut down all cell service so they could not set off anymore..

I'm shaking so bad..
'm not good with blood and having to help the med.. wasn't good, but you don'y think about that then,, but it's hitting me now..
