Earlier this week a friend of mine died in a car accident. Yesterday another friend died in a motorcycle accident. He was doing probably 55 when a car pulled out of a driveway she didn't see him and he had no time to even hit the brakes.( yes he was wearing a helmet). Guys Please be careful out there.Charlie

Sorry to hear of your friend, Charlie. Bike riders quickly learn that defensive driving, watching out for the other guy, is a critical life safety skill; and spring is one of the most dangerous times.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

i had a VERY close call in my 27 recently.
i need to think like bikers do.
always assume that very single motorist on the road is trying to kill me.a hot rod is whatever i decide it is.

With the epidemic of drinking and drug use you just never know whats behind the wheel of the other cars. Not to mention distracted drivers. That is the only reason I sold the Road King a few months back. It's just too crazy around other traffic. Again Charlie Im sorry for the loss of your friend. Hang in there!duplicate account

I'm also very sorry to hear another of your friends go down, Charlie. I hope you have local friends and family to give you support "in person" since we can't exactly give you a hug over the internet. It's tough to lose friends.
My condolences to the family, too. I hope they're blessed with help and strength to deal with their loss.Nick
