    Yeah, most folks that visit him probably go truck shopping, too! You might look around at the "previously owned" 5th wheel market. There's some pretty good first year depreciation on those new units that one can avoid if you can find one with two or three years of use that fits your needs. Around here there are a lot that get bought, then spend most of their time parked, waiting for owner's to have time to use them.... Just a thought.

    update

    after 450 miles we are getting 18.2 mpg city driving.but i am going to keep tabs on it and find out what my average is after a few thousand miles.

    and strangely enough,

    that completely agrees with the onboard gas milage estimator. ( i didnt expect that)
    a hot rod is whatever i decide it is.
