2013 American Graffiti Show
Here are a few shots of hot rods and custom builds from this year's show. There were 400 cars and trucks entered. My favorite this year is the last photos on the botton of the custom built woodies, it is made from wine barrels in back, and has a ford cowel, custom hood ornament is part old car(Plymouth?) and the surf bord portion is wood, painted to look metal, the cowl is fiberglass painted to look like metal, all built on a 1974 Chevy truck frame.

Thanx for the pics,Steve..The T bucket,,the first shot..Nice looking track style T ..Very nice..Yup,,the woodie was different.. I can see how a friend of mine got the inspiration for his Willys coupe, several years back..That blue one must have been around for a while... It's identical(almost)to Russells old coupe..Micah 6:8

Thanks for the photos, Steve. I love that first track-T and I must be developing a soft spot for trucks since I keep going back looking at that old Dodge pickup and the COE flatbed.Nick

Thanks Guys. Every year we get pretty much the same batch of local rods and muscle cars entered. It's kind of fun featuring the new and unusual stuff vs. the nicely done same-olds, I truely appreciate how much work it takes to make one of these, or buy one for that matter. The guy that made the woodies was a nice fellow, who shared some history of his build. I thought he did a real nice job, from scratch mostly. Funny side note is that he makes wine on the side. Since I make beer and hard Cider, I felt an instant connection." "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.
