NASCAR at Charlotte---for the long race!
Qualifying just finished up, Denny Hamlin got the pole and set a new track record in doing it! An average speed a bit over 195 mph!!!!! Oh, and 4 Toyota's in the first 3 rows!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I was traveling back home and spent the day in airports.. 8-(
Good for Denny! He needs some good things to happen for a change in his season.

Yes he has had a tough year!!!! I'd like to see him win a few before the season is over!!! After qualifying was over yesterday he definitely had that devious grin back on his face and a bit of a bounce in his step!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I never heard the outcome of his "showdown" with NASCAR... I wonder if he paid that fine?.?.? I doubt it! LOL..

Wow, Bruton Smith (the man who brought us 4 wide drag racing) now has a cable fall on the track and damage a bunch of cars!!!! A 15 minute time out to fix the damage!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Dang, long ways to go yet, but Kenseth is trying to drive off into a new time zone in that red Toyota!!!!! Also turned in the best pit stop time in the last two rounds of green flag pit stops!!! Oh, I don't know.. you can't put'em 3 wide for that long when the track narrows out, something bad is gonna happen! And these cars are so aero sensitive.
Shame to watch so many race cars get tore up tho'!
