Happy Birthday to John Wayne!!!
He was my favorite, never missed a chance to get to one of his movies! One of the Encore channels is having John Wayne movies on today to commemorate his birthday!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

All of his movies were good, but if I had to pick a favorite it would have to be Rooster Cogburn!!!! Just what I'd imagined an Old West Sheriff towards the end of his career would be like!!! Ms. Hepburn almost stole the show from him though!!!! I don't know who did the casting for that one, but they certainly picked the two best for the lead parts!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Good day to remember him again. John Wayne is one of the all time best. Made me want to grow up to be an ornery cowboy.
