    NASCAR at Pocono this weekend

.....and it's raining all day long so practice and qualifying have both been cancelled!

Truck race is on this evening, they're at Texas! Trucks at Texas is always a wild one! Should be on Speed, I think 6:30PM Central time?????

Thanks for the heads up. I think I'll watch that truck race tonight. It starts at 9PM, I got nothing better to do with all the rain, same rain that's raining out Pocono 90 miles north of here.

I got a soft spot for Pocono since it's local and I've been on that track many times. Track days usually run on part of the tri-oval and then onto one of the infield configurations. Here's me crossing the finish line on the main front straight going the non-NASCAR clockwise direction in an SCCA event:

Nice picture, Nick! Never did make it to Pocono, I have been to Watkins Glen a few times for SCCA and IMSA events, then to the mile dirt track at the Fairgrounds in Syracuse once.----People up that way take their racing quite serious!!!! Dirt burners are about the only thing that will draw a crowd around here, have to travel at least 180 miles just t catch a Track Day on a road course....bummer!

Hope that rain gets out of there by race time at least! On "The Hub" they said the weather outlook for Sunday was probably the only day this weekend there was a chance to get cars on the track!

It's pouring here (so'eastern Mass.) right now! High wind gusts too. I wonder if NASCAR will run the race with only 1 practice? Line'em up by points position and turn'em loose! Pocona is a drivers track with the (relatively) flat corners.. I'm hoping they get the race in, otherwise I'll have to watch a re-run.. LOL...
