Howdee folks, hope everybody is doing good. I've been hanging out in the back ground doing a whole lot of nothing other then recouping from helping mom out while she got well. Compared to the beginning of February she is a new woman, she's even stopped using her walker & cane.
As you know our son & family has been in Japan for the past 3 plus years. This past week Denise and I were informed that on August 3rd our daughter in law Danielle and Ayden our grandson will be flying into St Louis, Mo for the start of about a 30 day visit. Then 10 days later Joe,Jr shows up after his debriefing for a long over due vacation and family visit.
I do believe our grandson Ayden must be going to be working in computers or quantum physics when he gets older. He sent myself & his grandma a Skype message and these symbols ø ˚ ˜• ≤ Ω å £ ÷ were in his message. Even his dad said he has no idea how to make them. If Ayden is a clone of his father, we're all in trouble

Two possibilities exist:
Either we are alone in the Universe or we are not.
Both are equally terrifying.

Awesome news! Congrats!
Maybe Ayden can be convinced to share some of his skills with those who are not quite as gifted!...at least I'm enjoying the ride!

Know you're excited that the time is so close, Joe! Looks like they were having a great time in Okinawa. Some one-on-one grandma & grandpa time will be great!Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Joe-
I forwarded Ayden's message to my grandson (who recently turned six) for deciphering.
He respectfully hinted that the content of the message is too deep and heavy for a person of my limited intellect and that I should go back to sanding rust off of my old Dodge.
