A gathering of 107 T-Buckets in Carson City
First time the T-Bucket Nationals were held this far west in a long time. Had to show the Mid-West folks a good time western style. This place on an unofficial cruise opened some eyes.
The Moonlight Bunny Ranch
Of course there was other outstanding scenery other than the lovely ladies with a cruise around Lake Tahoe.
Mixing it up with the tourist traffic.
Of course later in the week a Poker Run out in the middle of the high desert.

Looks like an excellent get-to-gether, Bob. This is such a great area to have a roadster and enjoy being out driving it...and giving cute girls rides if the opportunity arises
By the way, I'm very highly disappointed to report that I'm writing this very moment sitting in my hotel room at the Silver Legacy in Reno but yet I can't join you guys.
But after a hard days work here and an early flight from PA this morning and needing to fly back early tomorrow, I can't hang around to enjoy such things this time. I hope to next time since some serious important business is developing for us here so I'll be back for sure. Even the National Automobile Museum in town was already closed by early evening (the former Harrah collection museum)Nick

Hey Nick, how is your 427 running? My first two fill ups only netted 12 mpg, but got 15.3 pulling the hill to Carson City and it has stayed above 15 mpg for the entire week of events with about 5 blasts of pinning the speedometer which takes around 7 seconds. Did a G-Tech 1/4 run and got a 9.7.
We as a group were at the auto museum on the Truckee River in Reno last Wednesday.Bob

I will be checking out that museum next time I come to Reno. I'm talking up the family to come along in the future and head over to Lake Tahoe for a stay, and then a visit to San Fran and visit my daughter in Oakland.
I was just thinking about checking my gas mileage, Bob. I have no idea what it is other than confirmation of the fact that my 10 gal. gas tank ain't big enough. Next time I fill it up I'll run some numbers and post back here. In lieu of the fact that I don't think any venue will let me drag down a 1/4 mile with no cage or roll bar, I also want to play with one of my iphone apps to get an et estimate. Now that I got my front end checked and aligned and it's rolling better than ever, I'll do that soon.Nick

In an effort to educate myself I checked out the Moonlight Bunny Ranch website and was enjoying pics of all the girls when I noticed one is named Amy Page and looks very much like this cute girl. I enjoyed seeing her in a lot more detail on the Bunny site. I'm second guessing my idea about bringing the family next time I come this wayNick

PS for Bob:
what tires and sizes are you running on your T? How do you like those tires?
Due to misalignment of my front end, now corrected, I need new front tires soon.Nick

Yep, Amy Page. She proudly showed me her spread in International Magazine. We talked non stop for at least 20 minutes and I was feeling guilty for taking so much of her time. She honestly didn't care so we kept chatting and she followed me out to my ride. After a few pictures she asked if she could run back in to get her card for me. Always the business woman.
The tires are all Mickey Thompson SR, rear being 31X16.00R15LT, front 26X6.00R15LT.
Looking forward to hearing your numbers.Bob

Thanks for the info, Bob. I'll check those out in case I decide to make a change since I know MT makes some nice tires. Mine are now M&H 275/55-16 drag radials with the M&H 185/75-15 front runners.Nick

Looks like you had good weather and beautiful scenery. Always love riding up in the Sierras and the foothill area." "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.
