Well after having to take a way out of the way detour because of an accident I arrived at the airport 10 minutes late BUT I saw Danielle & Ayden as I came through the airport doors. Walked up to them we gave each other a HUGE HUG, I got to hold my grandson for the first time & of course he stole my heart w/his first smile & laugh.
Here they are at the truck after we gather all their stuff at. Denise & I am on cloud 9 at this moment....joe

That is great, Joe, he's a good looking kiddo. I know you will dote on him and do just what GrandPa's do - spoil them rotten; that's our job.

I remember well the first time I saw, and held my oldest Grandson. My Bride called at about 0200 and said congrats, "Grand Pa". My first reaction, even though we had had nine months to ponder the situation was "i ain't old enough to be a Grand Pa, I don't know if I like this." I hit the road an hour later. A nine hour drive, and I held him in my arms - I was done for; still am, seventeen plus years, and several more Grands later.
