    Another project

This is a snow mobile trailer, it belongs to a friend of mine. He went to used it to help someone move, while pulling out of his yard his wife who was waving good bye, noticed something wrong whit the wheels. The drivers side had rotted away leaving them float independent of the right side. Well I have it in my shop now..NOT the trailer but the axle assemblies. We'er waiting for some parts to replace the rails, rather than repair the rusted stuff. For $60.00 we can have everything nice and shinny, and back together. It was a bit of a project getting it high enough to roll the wheels out. Not car related but heck there are pictures

Not much left to repair on the rails, replacement sure is the best choice! Good thing it was noticed before it was loaded and sliding down the highway with no wheels under the right side!!!!!!!!

That's exactly what I told him. I welded 3 L irons on it to keep things square and lined up till we have it back under the trailer I may just leave them there as they wont hurt anything.

Is that a rigid suspension, Charlie? Don't see anything for cushioning the ride/Haul!

I had a similar deal with my trailer 2 years ago. Wanted to haul one of the Cub Cadets but the trailer just didn't look "right".. turns out the frame had cracked in two right behind the axle mount. Had quite a bow in the floor! LOL.. Had to strip it all down and replace the whole frame! Went to a friend and "acquired" the steel so the repair only cost me some welding wire and a weekend of time.

Hope your project trailer goes as well! OH, and thanks for the pictures!!

Projects keep life interesting! Todays projects included replacing all the jets on the old hot tub, the replacing all the burners on the gas grill. The good thing is I'll be able to grill chicken for dinner, and the soak in the hot tub all the sore muscles from a hard days work!

Snow is this white stuff that falls from the sky and accumulates in large piles that kids love and Hot Rods hate. It's a reliable indicator that tells us that it's again time to go in the garage and build something!!!!!!!!

They are torsion springs see MORE pictures. One thing nice about this suspension is if you get a flat you can pull up on a block with a good tire in front or behind the bad one and change the flat with out a jack

My pastor at church wanted one of those signs for his office. He now has one.
