What did these mirrors come on???
dcp_2191.jpgI got these as is, and am curious about their original use.
My guess is late fifties.... but not even a wild guess about what make of car they came on!
The base says "AUTO LITE 1801"... but I could not find anything concrete on a Google search.Last edited by HOTRODPAINT; 09-04-2013 at 01:50 PM.

Both are equally terrifying.

Darn cool looking mirrors and differently from the time when cars were designed with style and grace.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

I think they're '57-59 Dodge/Chrysler/DeSoto - Google Image Result for http://ancientpoint.com/imgs/a/f/u/g/d/1957___1959_exterior_mirror_for_chrysler__desoto__dodge___very__6_lgw.jpgRoger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Soooooooo.... if you were driving a new 392 Hemi Chrysler in '57 or '58... your completion would be seen in these mirrors???? :-)~ LOL!
