What I find amazing is that I generally learn about a tornado event in the USA from New Zealand before I see any news of it here Sunday morning I jumped on CHR, saw Robin's post and said to my wife, "Did we have tornadoes in the MidWest yesterday?" "Not that I heard about" was her reply, but a quick Google told us differently. I guess that living with "Tornado Alley" so close has dulled my senses to them somewhat.... or at least more than Robin's.Roger

Couple yrs ago 1 went thru the South West part of town. Wiped out a neighborhood.
Some guys from work & I spent a day cutting & hauling trees.
This 1 felt different even tho it was 70 miles away.
Isulation, siding, wood particles on our driveway!!
A couple blocks from us a guy had the
" Welcome To Washington " sign in his yard!!
Ours was bad for sure but the thoughts // feelings of this one are incomparable.
We had no damage, but Morris did, & thats only a 20 min drive!!
Most definately we were & are praying for those affectedLast edited by t-top havoc; 11-19-2013 at 08:02 PM. Reason: spelling

Terrible devastation, but you took some great pictures, Pro. That last one - it's like any place that has a bunch of RV, modular wheeled, trailer type vehicles is a tornado magnet! Seems like too often the news brings the story that a tornado hit a trailer park, and they just fly apart.Roger

My heart goes out to those poor buggers affected.
Even if they suffered no physical injuries they have seen the hopes, dreams, and aspirations shattered.
A lifetime's working and dreaming . . . destroyed.
All the little trinkets that make a house a home and are dear to you . . . either destroyed or gone.
I went to the dentist yesterday and had two teeth removed, it took him nearly two hours and I'm not feeling too happy today, in fact I am very small most mis'able dog; but my problems are trivial in comparison.
Our thoughts are with all those affected.johnboy
