That multi state lotto up to over 400 million.
That multi state lotto up to over 400 million.
Gonna have to take that 20 mile ride to the California line and pick up some tickets.
They don't let them sell the tickets in Nevada.
Keep your fingers crossed for me, if I hit it I'll be able to hire some of my friends on here to finish my projects. Ain't no pleasure like doing it your self, but I guess I'll have to leave that pleasure to some one that can bend better then I do these days. Going in to Vegas in a couple days to see a specialist and see if they are gonna replace the bad knees yet. Not sure how they would do them both at once or one at a time???
I guess I'll find out.

It would be nice to know some one who won the lotto...The knee replacement ain't a big deal I had my right knee done a few years ago. They have you up walking and climbing stairs hours after surgery. I just had one done as they had removed the cartilage years ago and it went bone on bone. Good luck on BOTHCharlie

Kurt, good luck on both! I'm sure it'd be nice to get rid of the knee paina and troubles! Winning the lotto would be awesome! Some folks won it last year in Bondurant Iowa and they donated some to the community. It'd definitely be awesome to have the oppurtunity to do things like that.Ryan

Good luck on both ventures, Kurt. I made a run down to Dolan Springs today and gave a donation at Rosie's.Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.

Just remember that since every thing is going around in circles in our country these days, if you get both done at same time, you can get one of them reversed so you can run a tighter circle---and if you also win the lottery, we'll call you the" 400 million dollar man" Well I guess we'd call anyone who won the lottery that------------

Well I didn't hit the lotto but to the plus side, no one did, So it's almost up to $600 million.
So I have to make a trip back over to the California line and get another ticket tomorrow morning.
On the plus side of that, Found out today the VA is gonna replace my right Knee in April,
and my left knee a couple months after that. My surgeon said he won't do both knees at once.
Then there looking at my hips, made me go down and get ex rays of those today to.
Yep I'll be like a new man, HE! HE! HE! It will be nice to walk with out all that loud grinding.
Finally.

Don't know if it's the same Lotto or not but I bought a ticket last Thursday for Friday's drawing here in Texas and while I was in there someone asked me what I would do, if I won. I told them "I don't know exactly what I would do but I can guarantee you that it wouldn't be the same thing I did the day before !".
" I'm drinking from my saucer, 'cause my cup is overflowed ! "

From what I read, the big one right now is the MegaMillions drawings, held on Tuesday's & Friday's. They changed the odds back in September/October, and it's rolled over twenty times consecutively with no winner. They say that over 70% of the possible winning combo's will sell for tomorrow's drawing, but if it rolls again then the total for Friday will likely exceed $1 billion for the extended payout. The next PowerBall drawing is Wednesday, with the estimated payout $50MM, which I guess is chump change in the lottery world? We buy tickets only very, very rarely as we truly consider it a voluntary tax and not really a form of entertainment.Roger

A few of us in work pooled some money and bought a bunch of MegaMillions tickets today. I normally don't buy lottery tickets but I figured in case they win I wouldn't want to be the only one left working here.Nick

I rarely buy lotto tickets because I know my luck and I can throw my money away easy enough. But they always say you can't win if you don't play. I thought it was a misprint on the electronic sign on top of the wall when we pulled into a Kum NGo at 5:50 saturday morning. Nope, that was the lotto pot.Ryan

When I stopped in the store it was obvious that I had no idea how their systems worked, and I mentioned, "You can't win if you don't play", and a guy paying for gas said, "Yeah, but you can't lose, either...." True words, but I figured $5 in voluntary tax was not too bad once or twice a year....Roger
