Supreme Court case of Printz v. United States:
What the Supreme Court said … is that states are not merely political subdivisions of the federal government to carry out what the federal government does; they are sovereign entities. Congress can pass laws, but it cannot compel the states to utilize either their treasury or personnel to implement those federal laws.

i dont do politics and dont really know what that means but iv`e never understood how a federal judge from one state can rule on the actions of another state ..i dont have an example to speak of .. maybe a federal judge is not considered being from a particular state but from the usa as a whole ..iv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?
