Lucky's Cruise Pics
Here's a slideshow link of the pics I took today. The eyes weren't cooperating so I didn't take as many as I would have liked to. Lucky is the man in the black derby hat with the two refugees beside him. Pic #13
Fairlane performed real good and I was very pleased.

Hey, thanks for the pics Em!!! Quite a variety of cars there! I like to say "to each his own" but I was particularly "intrigued" by the lavender '37 Ford (pic 20) with the white vinyl top and elaborate graphics.... Let's just say mine probably won't look like that! But, at least his runs....where as mine is still in pieces in my garage!!!"It is not much good thinking of a thing unless you think it out." - H.G. I like the special, and there was a unique ute vehicle(photo #16/43) that might have been a chevy or holden? very cool!Last edited by stovens; 01-13-2014 at 10:35 AM.

I looked at that and thought: "Mopar."
Mid-fifties (Australian) Chrysler Royal?
I don't recall them making a ute though but . . .
And if it is how on earth did it find its way (in that guise) to the States?
There's got to be a story there Em; do you know anything about it?johnboy

Charles...you need slappin... 63 and 64 are nice cars,,specially in coupe form.. And,,it's nice to see one that hasn't been brutally disfigured, with silly little 13 inch wheels..
Thanks,Em..A good bunch of cars there.. That 39,or 40 tudor threatened my blood pressure,,so I'm glad you never got any closer to it.. Looked kool from a distance..Last edited by lamin8r; 01-14-2014 at 02:07 AM.

Pal, the only story I heard was when, Kyle, said "it's a shortened 4 door" !
As I mentioned, my eyes were really messing with me in that bright sunlight but I swear I saw "Comet" between the hood ornament and grill. Don't quote me on that OK?????? Oops just saw Randy's post so maybe I wasn't halucinating after all !.

Like Mike says, if you add a layer of foam it tends to hine the slight bump, and you can even sand the foam surface slightly to really smooth it out.
