Man I'm glad you kept the power plant Chevy! I hate it when those chevy guys put Ford engines in their rides... SARCASM! Im always catching crap for stuffing Chevy engines in Fords. Just felt good to turn it around.

    Lookin good!

Hi, I'm new to the forum, my name is Ron and My project car is a 31 2dr. sedan, I have not been able to get started on it yet. I have to build a new home first so that I can have more room to work and concentrate fully on it once the house is done! I do have a 30 Ford that is fully restored to play with for now, and will sell it when the chevy is done, but the chevy is really my dream Rod as I have always loved GM and yes my chevy will stay completely chevy! ? except maybe the suspension as I want air-ride?

Hi Ron, and welcome. Just a suggestion, you might want to start a new thread as opposed to jumping on the end of one that's specific to someone's subject, like this build thread. Just click on the "Forum" tab at the top, scroll down to the one where you choose to post, and open it which will also bring up the "New Thread" button below that sub-forum's name. Maybe select "New Members/Sign In" to start. Here's a link to help -

Your project sounds cool. Eagle, Idaho? Ever hear of a guy named Marv Hintz?

got a little more done, putting air and heat in it now, and mounted gauges in dash.
