Polk is part of the team investigating the cause and extent of the sink hole at the museum Wednesday.
I bet when it's all said & done it will be determined the cause will be a huge void below the floor.

    Let's see...

The architect said the plans were solid

The investors were told it was safe

The construction company said the foundation was sound

The building is completed, AMD looks fine

Now a giant hole is sucking in everything

And.. competent, impartial investigation of the underlying geology would have prevented it.

    Yep. It's Obamacare all right.

You raise a good point. I don't imagine they can just fill the hole with c6, pack it down & pour a new floor. Could be the end of the whole structure. Free Basement?????

Paybacks are often tough to deal with!!!!

BTW--After looking at some of the pics and video's I have come to the conclusion that there sure is room in that hole for a heck of a lot more chebbies!!!!!! It'd save on the price of good fill dirt, anyway!!

Sometimes unexplainable occurrences are described as "acts of God". Well, if that's the case do we have to conclude that the almighty is a Ford Man?
