Testing, Testing, Testing, When are you most likley...

So I belong to a few forums of different types and am noticing some typical usage trends. It seems Friday about noon till Saturday evening is non existent for forum discussion. For the most part it is quiet here through out the weekend. Then we have the time zone thing where I come on at 8:00 pm on the west coast and everyone else is already in bed on the east Coast or other Continents.

So all this to ask when do you find yourself taking a peek at your favorite forums? During morning coffee, your first brake at work, Lunch time, before leaving the office, after dinner, just before bed time, or is there no particular time just when ever. I know this is way out in left field but just curious.... I was also wondering if there was a more active time zone? Pacific time here...

I'm in the central zone so two hours ahead of you, an hour behind the guys on the right coast. I'm lucky to be retired so I'm not constrained by a paying job. I check for new posts with my first cup of coffee around 6;30am, and then check back as I come in & out from the barn or from running around. After dinner we'll spend some time with recorded TV or a NetFlix movie, then I'll check new posts again before turning in around 10:30 to 11pm.

I'm retired, too, so I have my routine: after I get my morning med stuff out of the way, I grab a cuppamud and sit down hwere; it might be early, or more likely after 0900 (PDT). I run through the e-mail, then check in on seven different forums; I often come back several times during the day, depending on any number of factors, and then once before bedtime when I shut this infernal machine down for the night.

I can "usually" sneak a few minutes in unless I am traveling to a jobsite. Then if I'm not on the companies server I can reach the site and check in.. Otherwise I have to wait for the evening.

Those times shift to the reader's time zone, 3:05 am left coast is a very reasonable early rising 6:05 am on the right coast. I've been fooled by that a few times, too.

Roger, with all due respect, you've also been fooled into thinking that 6:05 AM is a "very reasonable early rising time". Let the dog out and go back to bed.

The incoming storm awoke me this morning at 5:20am and Bones & I were up well before 6am watching the lightning. Once awake I'm done, and I'm rarely in bed past 6:30am, with an occasional lapse closer to 7am

Like many of you I'm self employed and on the verge of being among the working retired. I find that several bursts of energy sprinkled with puffs of production and multiple brakes during the day is the key to me getting something done. I find myself on the computer during most of those brakes and way more than I should be... lets just say I check in too often. Glad I don't have to answer to a boss
I got tired of paying $100.00 a month for cable TV that I wasn't interested in and never watched so I got rid of it. Now in the evenings I typically find things that I'm interested in on line and watch it there. Not having that cable gives me a lot more time to wrench, read, and get things done... Like checking in on the GHR! Needless to say CHR is high on the favorite list so it gets clicked before and after the evening tasks. I'm on here several times a day and night as well. Thanks for helping with my theropy... wanted to make sure I didn't need the 12 step program for forums... Either we are all normal or very much ab~e~normal?
