I was going to post up some pic's the other day and got that message... Figured because I didn't have permission that it meant I didn't have enough posts or there was a secrete club or something? Didn't think too much about it though.Bob, Bob, & Bob

I will be sorry to find you have decided to stop posting too. We have lost two very good communicators ( probably more that I can't remember ) of both excellent builders and straight fun guys to have around, Don , Itoldyouso, and Ken Thurm which to this day still I miss having around. I can only repeat what already has been mentioned, hope it is only a short break away from us.
On another totally separate note, no sign of MA370 as yet, I don't know if that is a blessing or what yet...
On the photographs, I find it a pain also and don't both posting photos anymore.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Not much of a loss, IMO, as it's just a link to the Gallery upload interface and I find the Gallery to be about like picking up a random stack of photo's and trying to find that one that you thought you'd seen before, like hunting a needle in a haystack. If someone says, "Go look in my gallery...." I feel like saying, "No, YOU go find it in your gallery, save it and upload it to the thread."Last edited by rspears; 04-20-2014 at 04:49 PM.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

I hate to see you go, Jerry, but you do have a life other than this, that is quite obvious. For my part, I appreciate your insight, experience, and the contributions you make to the general community here, and will miss having the benefit of your broad range of expertise. Take good care, and if you decide to say "hey" once in a while, I am sure it will be welcomed by us all.Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.

EEK! Those of you who did not have access to post pics....can you now? I found a setting which may have been affecting you.
Jerry, its too bad that you wish to leave...Honestly, if I could make things perfect I would, but as you know, the last time I tried to make changes, which I saw as just the beginning to bring this place closer to current technologies, all hell broke loose.....I am to say the least, nearly petrified to do anything anymore.Brent Mills

I hope the site stays about Hot Rods!!!! If I want all the latest gizmos and gadgets with digital photography I suppose I'd probably join a site dedicated to photography!!!
Back when Brent started this whole deal, don't think there was more then a dozen guys with digital cameras and we managed to have a very lively and interesting forum. Silly me, I still enjoy just looking through the gallery to see what others have built! Pictures are neat, but after-all, isn't this place about Hot Rods???? We did manage to build them before the advent of digital photography!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Well guys,,I too have been a bit slack on here for a while,,and for some reason,,still haven't got a working ''like'' button.. But,,I am trying to get back on here more often,,as time allows.. Will endeavour to get more pix up,of various things in the near future myself,,as the progress warrants it.I don't like seeing people leave this site,as I feel we are all connected one way or another,to each other..This site is the only one I spend any decent amount of time on,now,,for a couple of good reasons.. There is almost no bitching,,hair splitting, moaning, etc,as I have encountered elsewhere,,and all you guys on this site have got a different outlook on life, than another place I frequent.. I suppose we all need a break,,and come back as we feel the need.. Go play with your toys Jerry,,and stick ya head in now and then..and stick in your 2cents worth..Micah 6:8
If we aren't supposed to have midnight snacks,,,WHY is there a light in the refrigerator???

i'm still a beginner so i won't comment on personalities and reactions to advice, as i don't know too many people on here very well except some of my fellow kiwi's.
i will listen to advice from anyone and then probably go and do my own thing anyway if i don't agree with it.
i really like this forum and will continue to post about my stuff with pictures cause that what i like seeing from other forumites.
i use photobucket and have no problems but accept it takes alot of time, something i've got plenty of at the moment, hence the deluge of different things i've done in the last year or so.
i belong to the hamb as well, and have never posted anything there, but i certainly soak up the knowledge that floats around in amongst the
nonsense that seems to punctuate alot of threads there and that stuff has been noticeably absent from here.
i'm sorry to see a very knowledgable person (jerry-i've read alot of your smallblock chev posts)thinking about leaving, but you got to do what you got to do.
i hope you don't!!

Then I'll take this opportunity to thank you for all you've provided, and I hope to see you again..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
