I quit cold turkey in 85. Quit drinking and smoking the same day Oct. 28, 1985. I was at 3/4 packs a day. I worked 7 days a week 16 to 24 hours a day yes I would go out to medical and take a nap and go back to work. I think the biggest thing is you have to remember its a one day at a time thing. If you slip you start counting again. That will get you thinking. I would be the first to say its NOT EASY. I still once in a while with out thinking reach for my shirt pocket and think What the heck am I doing. As said before if you don't Really want to quit you won't.Charlie
