Nice weather, 53 project slows down

I was hoping to have started this thing by now but nice weather is slowing things down, and that's not all bad. Outside honey do list takes over, fishing , little league games, general up keep , campfires, and all the other normal summer stuff. I will try to dedicate one night a week to work on it but not sure how true to that I can be. What is your guys best time of the year to work on you stuff?

For me the winter is when I have time to concentrate on the rod. Right now the farm is getting active and with working full time.. I use fridays evenings and whatever time I can squeeze in over the weekend usually.

Seriously, When do you guys sleep? I just noticed when you guys responded, 1:32 am and 4:57 am which means you were up for awhile before that. Anyway, I think I need to get gas heater in my shop so I will work in it more during the winter. By the time the wood stove heats it up, I'm ready to quit.

Same thing happens here, the garden and house projects monopolize the free time, not to mention all the mandatory classes at work.

Slept well last night until (went to bed at 1 a.m.) 8 a.m. when neighbor lit up the chain saw, and leaf blower, I think I'll need to tume my engine before putting the mufflers on, maybe Saturday morning at 8a.m.

I'm the same.. Work on the Customline when I have spare time,,but prefer the warmer months.. it doesn't get too cold here,,but in winter,,with the mountain so close,,when it snows up there,,I feel it in an un insulated shed..Might have to kick a large hole in the wall and bring it inside.. And,,yup,,i have noticed a certain person in the north east is awake, and posting here,at sparrow fart,,about the same time I crawl into my warm bed..

If we aren't supposed to have midnight snacks,,,WHY is there a light in the refrigerator???
