Flash hot off the presses-part2
In reading the forum today, I came across this post by Ted about Ken Thurm's car in Street Rodder magazine this month. What a great article and such a beautiful machine. Not wanting to interfere with that thread at all, I'm posting this separately. Here's my little story with "Street Rodder", it's kind of strange. Way back in 2008, I sent in a couple of pics of my 32 to them. Not hearing back, I forgot about it. Then about three months ago (after six years), I was at the local burger joint on friday night and get a call from a nice guy claiming he was from "Street Rodder". He said he was going through some old photo's and would like to put my 32 in the "Early Iron" section of an upcoming issue. I thought it was a prank untill I received an e-mail with all the particulars and knew it was legit. To make this story short, my 32 Chevy was featured in this months "Early Iron" (august). He did a good job with the little story and pics. I never thought my car would be in a magazine such as "Street Rodder". Hot Rodding is such a great hobby. Y'all keep your eyes open for my other car to be featured in "Early Iron". If it goes like this one, it should be in the August 2020 issue, lol......
Have a great day,
Milner

Good for you!
While we don't go looking for accolades, it's good to have your work and effort appreciated.

Congratulations! The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.
