GoodGuys Marketing
I was surprised to find a phone message from GoodGuys when I came in yesterday, reminding me that I had not yet registered for the Heartland Nationals in DesMoines over the July 4th weekend, and telling me that I could still enjoy the reduced rate $10 savings on registration through 6/21. They're probably just trying to maximize their numbers, but the phone call was a first for me.Roger

Seriously I think that they're simply cross referencing the list of members who attended Des Moines last year against their current members list, and maybe then cross referencing against this years reservations (but it doesn't sound like it from Ryan's experience) and calling the members to "remind" them.... It's not a bad business practice for them.Roger

I keep waiting for the call but alas they don't seem to want a beat up 48 truck!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

I haven't signed up for Puyallup yet, it's scheduled last weekend of July. Last year when I renewed membership I dropped the print mag and opted for the digital version....................haven't heard a peep from them since. They used to send an email with a link when the newest digital was posted, but now, nada. Without the monthly reminder (print or digital) I keep forgetting to register................probably should take care of that right now. Where is that procrastinator thread anyway?............................Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
