Not much accomplished this week. Monday and Tuesday were road days coming back from SoCal dragging the newly acquired '39 beater sedan. And since I still had rental time on the trailer picked up a '32 Ford Model B chassis and began tearing that down to see what I'd really bought value wise. Half of Thursday got lost to plumbing project. And the rest of time....................hell, I can't tell you what ate that up. Last night cruise in was fun though. Those that get the beater vibe enjoyed the '39, but it's not everyone's cup of tea.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

One of the best post I've ever read on this forum... But that last line really busted me up. Be sure Mama doesn't read this or she will remember and remind you of your excitement for making wedding plans for the rest of your life! You will learn.

Yeah Bob 1/3, it was love at first sight. The fresh 276 59ab, rebuilt trans, mostly new dropped suspension, new brakes, and recent interior and glass make it a comfy driver. And the seller threw in the extra doors free!

Say what you will about the doors... Only car Snobs are stuck on only having 2 of them! The three of us sure like it, specially Fat Bob, He's also know as back seat Bob.

Uncle Bob,,that's a neat ol' beater.. Wish our ''beater'' finds were as good as that one..
as far as the weekend goes,,it went..............
Went north to see my semi aged mother on Friday, for the weekend, which coincided with a swapmeet that we normally attend,,which is the aftermath of the rodrun that we don't attend... Stopped on the way up,to pick up the new windshield for the F100,which was waiting for us,and continued into Tauranga.. Work on cars around here, seems to have ground to a halt temporarily, until we have the new engine back from the dude who has built it for us,for the Customline..Then,,it will be all go..This coming weekend will be likely spent on the F100 to get it up to scratch so I can use it again.. And,,yup,,the year is going far too quickly for me,too..

I did OK as well... Friday night the boys came over with Pizza and beer in their hands. After eating and enjoying some good fellowship over a few silver bullets they grabbed the tools and got after my forklift water pump. Didn't get ur done but made a huge dent in it and I should be able to finish it up on my own soon. Saturday made it to the shop and cranked out some things that had to be done. SEATS, SEATS, and more SEATS. Sunday I got a good ear full at Church went home and took a nap never to making it to the boat... But the relaxation and BBQ was just about as fulfilling. Oh well theres always next weekend.

Red Green says when women have a party, they clean the house to make it presentable. When men have a party, they leave tools laying about so the guests will build a new deck!
