    Nascar in Sonoma

"We" haven't done a Nascar thread in awhile and Carl Edwards won at Sonoma! The King of Concrete tracks nails a road course!

I thought that aussie had a good chance but faded away..

Kind of funny, this was only Rousch racings second win at Sonoma EVER!

Cousin Carl got his very first ever road course win and after the dismal season (so far) at Roush I'm sure he's the hero now!!!!!

I was watching the guys on the former speed channel re-hash the race and their opinions of Rousch and it's troubles. Kenny Wallace pointed out that Rousch has been using a spring in the right rear that's rated at 10 thousand pounds! I think that's as close to a solid link and still be legal as nascar requires you to have a spring.. If that don't plant the right rear.. what will?? So much for making a suspension work!

I guess when Ford started pulling out, the engineers went first?!?!? I'm now wondering how long Carl and Biff will stick around!?!?!

Carl is one of those disciplined drivers, I'd have to guess he'd like a ride with Coach Gibbs in one of the Toyota's. Biff will stay with Roush till he retires!!!

Carl is disciplined NOW!!! When he first came in - if you got him mad his first reaction was with his right fist! Ask Matt Kenseth!

I don't know about the Biff.. I think if the opportunity was right.. he'd be gone! He wants a championship.. badly!
