That's really good they're getting their car back. I really didn't see it going that way. I bet the story going viral put a lot of heat on Oregon and that sheriff's office.Ryan

Great news! Wow I never thought it'd go this way either. I hope the guy who had it loses business over this, maybe people will question his work ethics, after watching this story unfold!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

The story is apparently still far from over. The car had been complete and drivable up until at least last November (and some say even up until this started getting publicized). Here is a link to pictures of what was seized by the police.

The guy who had possession of the Cuda say he has the rest of the parts and will return them.
.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

I'm really glad he's giving back the parts he has. This would be a nightmare to restore the way it sits. Wouldn't this be a good one for Overhaulin'?Jack

I bet his "crew" tore it down when the news story aired or shortly there after. He probably just happened across another shell to transfer all the parts over to....................... That is a bad deal for the owners, but I guess still better than no car.Ryan
