Im finding all kinds of forum functional features not working?
I'm not complaining! This is just a heads up...
I've noticed that if I want to change the font size in the advanced mode it cant or wont happen. I also cant do a quote mode in the advance mode? Pics don't show up after its loaded. Who knows how the heck to find the pic I want to use once it is loaded up. Feel like I'm playing the old TV Match game? The forum misdirection to the home page is really crazy and easily fixed as well. Ya know it's just a matter of going in the back room and flipping a few toggles on and off? While I do enjoy this site very much it would be nice if the feature that are shown worked. With the speed of my shop puter I cant spend the time working around a lot of these issues hence, I Don't. What ever its worth? Lots of potential here.
I know V bulletin has had its issues but these are very basic functions not working. The answers to correct these issues are easily found on their website... Just takes a little time and effort? Thanks, for what ever its worth. BobBob, Bob, & Bob

Join the club. This has to be one of the most f****d up sites I visit. Hardly anything works properly. I still visit because I like the people and the great info but it surely isn't because of a smoothly operating system. Unfortunately a lot of good members have moved on because of the way this place operates.

Hey I would gladly kick down a few more bucks if they would pay someone to fix it. Heck if it were operating correctly they might be surprised just who would chip in? Id like to pay for some advertising here but not if it isn't running correctly. The Hamb takes in a lot of donations and can easily keep their site up dated as a result. This could continue be a calmer gentler forum and do just as well as the Hamb very easily. Guess it just depends on priority's. Change is Opportunity!Last edited by M.T.; 07-20-2014 at 02:13 PM.

Walt Zander.jpgworks fine for me! Guess I'll never understand how a few minor glitches determine anything about how a Hot Rod gets built!!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

It doesnt... It is just a direct reflection on the lack of maintenance on the forum, and distracts from the ability of sharing with others on how a Hot Rod gets built. I think that is what forums are all about? What ever? I will continue to stumble around in the dark. Just thought bringing this to someones attention might change things. I didnt know if I was the only one experiencing these issues or it was the norm for everyone? If things change for the better I will know someone heard me, if not. Oh and what is the pic you attached of? Seeing nothing but a blue box here?Last edited by M.T.; 07-21-2014 at 06:50 PM.

Guess I just don't see where a pic not posting occasionally or some other features that most of us never use anyway not working is a big deal. Wouldn't it work just as well to send these complaints to Bill and/or Brent instead of making it a post where everyone can chime in and make everyone else get upset about the site? Guess I'm just too computer stupid too know what's such a big deal anyhow. Not the first time a post like this has started and about all I've ever seen them accomplish is a bunch of hurt feelings and people leave. I'm a Hot Rodder, not a computer geek. Guess I'll just trudge along and enjoy the good friends I've met here and the wealth of information about Hot Rods and life in general that I've gained from them.
I also appreciate the fact that the site is free unless an individual should choose to make a voluntary contribution. When somebody gives me a gift I was taught it's good manners not to complain about it! Silly me anyway.......Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
