Hey guys, it's Friday...
So I'm working away thinking its Thursday when I get a call from a long lost friend wanting to know if I still host the Friday night work-a-Thon at the shop. You betcha I replied. I will see ya in a few hours he says! Hours? you mean tomorrow? Oh you've changed them to Saturdays? he replyed... Humm where are my tape measures again? or was I looking for the sharpie?
Sooooo, now that its here briefly how are you going to spend your weekend?
I'm hosting the shop open house tonight. Tomorrow I'm kicking it in celebration of me turning 59 today. And if everything goes OK after Church Its boat fever once again. If not next weekend might be cooler! LOL What are you guys up too?Last edited by M.T.; 08-01-2014 at 04:01 PM.

Happy birthday!!!!! From the sounds of it you almost missed it
I think tomorrow will be a kick back day turning money into noise as Bob puts it. Probably fire up the hit and miss for a while and maybe crush some cans. I've also been thinking of firing up the old HEMI for a while to circulate the oil a bit
.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

I'll be cleaning up the backyard & replacing some split rail fence. The same fence I put up new just 27 years ago. They just don't make that stuff to last any more."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.
"LIVE" your life like you could die tomorrow.

I'm going up to Minneapolis tomorrow morning for a little no kid vacation with my wife and our friends. We come back Tuesday night and I have the rest of the week off. We're going to go ride the Boone Valley Train with the kids, and I hope to get some stuff done on the 40.
By the way, Happy Birthday Tri-Bob. 3 cakes or 3 beers? That is the question.Ryan

Hope to get some more done on the Mustang and maybe the Vette. Changing the single master cylinder out for a dual from a 67 and need to redo the exhaust from the headers back. Oh, and Happy BirthdayKen Thomas

Thanks for the birthday thoughts. Kinda wish after age 50 or so we could go to birthday wishes every 10 years. LOL For some reason it feels more like a count down than count up! Or another possible option would be to start going in reverse at 50 in which case im celebrating my 41st for the second time. LOL Are there HOT RODS in Heaven? The closer I get The more I wonder...Last edited by M.T.; 08-01-2014 at 09:23 PM.
