NASCAR at Bristol
New track record at Bristol, the whole top 12 in qualifying were under the old record. Right now Harvick has the pole at 14.607. Jeff Gordon was second fast. That's flat flying on a 1/2 mile track!!!!!!Last edited by Dave Severson; 08-22-2014 at 04:35 PM.

Saw an article in the KC paper a few days back that the Toyota camp is up in arms with their TRD guys, saying that they're "...50HP short..." which is bogus. The word is that the Hendrick's team has got things figured out, and they're ruling the roost at this point. Of course it's only a matter of time, right? Having twelve under the track record says something, 'cause I doubt they're all bow tie's, right?Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

That's still one of the biggest scams in NASCAR, anytime your brand doesn't win, then they must be down on horsepower!!!!
Heck we know them other guys are telling tales!!! Ford has always been penalized by NASCAR!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Nationwide race is starting soon (ESPN) and should be an "interesting" race.... The top side is way faster then the bottom, going to get crowded when everyone wants the top on a 1/2 mile track!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Nothing like a Bristol race! 1/2 miler means aero isn't sh_t! Hammer down - tap the brakes and turn left - repeat!
