Dang it... WHATS THE MATTER WITH YOU GUYS!!!
It's 2:30 Pm and I'm just now finding out its Friday? Whats Up With That?I thought at least one of you would of been keeping track of the calendar for me, but guess not...
So I'm doing the regular thing for Saturday SEAT BUILDING. But actually going to take a few minutes on Sunday to look the Model A over and figure out a new rebuild plan of attack. Its been sitting since 1974 and I need to make it a priority for me. I smoothed it all off when I was a snotty nosed kid because it was the cool thing to do at the time. I even painted the frame and fire wall a disgusting turquoise that looks bitchen on Tri-Five Chevy's but not Model A's. Now I'm going to un-smooth it and put the door handles, gas fillet neck, and everything else back on and go more retro with the patina look. I built the car for bar hopping back in the day when you could bar hop. Now that I'm older and much more wiser I think I want it more for the antique drags car. So Sunday will be brain storming the rebuild of the A, hope it doesn't hurt.
What are you guys up to this weekend? Fun Stuff that is semi safe I hope? Enjoy.Last edited by M.T.; 09-05-2014 at 03:27 PM.

Yeah Bob's it's Saturday down here and looking out the window,it's not too bad a day for the sixth day of spring. My plans are to do some tidying up around the garden and take a load of rubbish out to the Sisters place to burn. But first I have to get the old Bmmmer going as yesterday the battery decided not to play the game so have had the charger on all night. The car is a 1995 BMW and when I removed the battery cover I find the original BMW battery with all it's markings in there but, surely, that would be impossible for a battery to last that long. The car has 140,000 km's on the speedo and I'm the only NZ owner and have owned it since 2006 when it was imported from Singapore. I only average 1000 to 1500 km's every 6 months between warrant of fitnesses so as you can see, it hardly goes anywhere. Well, I better go and see if the garden has started cleaning itself up without me.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Cant say when last ate an equinox but I think it was on vacation on route 66 about 10 years back. Some tasty road kill if I remember correctly. Just a tad bit grisly but enough BBQ sauce and anything tastes great.Bob, Bob, & Bob

Nah,,ya doing it the wrong way,Bob x3.. Ya sling it on the exhaust manifold,,tie it on with some 8 gauge wire,,and drive for an hour or so.. If you can wait till you get home,,sling it in a big pot with a few large stones,,and lotsa water,,and boil for three hours,,then remove the remains of the equinox,,and eat the stones.. hehe.. Well,,it works down here with pukeko...
What'a a pukeko?? google the sucker...Micah 6:8

I used to see dead equinoxs on the road down by the farm----Mom was upset when I brought one home to cook even tho it had a pretty black/white stripe fur coat----------
The first model car I built was a 32 Ford roadster by Revell in the mid 50's.
How did you get hooked on cars?
