Ontario County District Attorney Michae Tantillo also said marijuana was detected in Ward's system during his autopsy. Tantillo said the levels were enough to "impair" Ward's judgment.

Driving anything under the influence is not wise. I guess Colorado is having some serious issues with stoned drivers now and they are trying to figure out how to deal with it. Sounds like Tony dodged a very serious bullet on this one too bad he couldn't of dodged... oh well.

Glad to hear/read this I thought for a while it was a very on sided argument. I guess those crucifying him were dead bong. Err... Wrong.

This might not be over they want to destroy NASCAR and the N.F.L. those two have a vary conservative fan base and I'll bet eric holder going to be up nights working on this he might call in the I.R.S. or O.S.H.A. OR CIVEL RIGHTS COMISSION I hope I'am wrong but I just don't trust these people .....ted

WOW!!!! Sure does take one great big huge conspiracy to get NASCAR, the NFL, OSHA, IRS, the Civil Rights Commission, Eric Holder, and a Saturday night Sprint Car race all involved!!!!!!!!

Mr Stewart is still open to civil suit for wrongful death. Easier to lose and he could get hit with considerable monetary loss. Too bad the family cant accept that it is a racing accident and let the kid rest in peace.

Being under the influance will probably go a long way in Tony's favor in a civil suit. Time will tell.

Me neither, Ted, even most of "THEM" couldn't pass a random drug test and they are Running more than a Race Car.

Maybe Ward was just trying to get to the snack bar when he was hit.
Glad Tony was cleared in any case.
Ward was warned about getting out of his car before, it's his fault plain and simple.
I feel bad for the family but he caused his own death.
The whole thing could have been avoided and he would still be alive if had stayed in his car.

Edit: Just Google'd the great news! I always thought another holiday in September was needed! Now If we could keep his boss on the putting green an aditional 4 hours day instead of only 12 we might be able to pull outa this mess! Wonder what that is going to do to the Dept. of Just-Us....
