It's either my internet or the site running awful slow.. let's see if we cannot get a couple photos up. Here's some with cars you may remember! The 21 is the actual car that clashed with Petty and you always see on NASCAR TV commercials.

Pearson and the Wood Bros., a potent combo in the day!

and then, around the corner was... "The ROOM!"

Here's where they store engines and parts / pieces awaiting "preservation". Right next door to the workshops. Some had been on display already and were now "in storage"...

Here's a couple more of the "ROOM" (my version of heaven!)

And a curious axle. Seems that Ford had a display at a worlds fair (forget if they said 35 or 36.) and to demonstrate how "strong" they built a car, they would drop an axle into a machine which would wind the axle to prove it wouldn't break! I think this one had 5 rotations!

A couple shots of the real deal first years of Soap Box Derby racers. Bill's granddaughters also competed but the pics of their racers came out lousy...

Check out the front suspension and steering on the "grey" car!

That's enough for today.. I'll try and do some tonite and possibly finish it there.

3 classics in that picture! I love the old red baron, the coach car(boothill express) and the old paint styled(is that painted with lace?) blue roadster outlaw car!

I believe I mentioned it earlier, Bill had to have had the worlds largest collection of pedal cars! Of note is the picture with the boy next to "his car".. He owned that car for some 70 years! His Dad won it in a raffle and gave it to his son.. he kept riding it until he couldn't fit in it any longer. So they tucked it away in the attic, until as an old man he knew something had to be done with it so it went into Bills collection and he would come in and visit the old car every once in awhile! In the trunk it has the original tool kit and grease gun! All to scale too!!! Note the lantern on the running board, also original.. this was the convertible model, the same car but hardtop was upstairs.
