Ol' Marais River Run - Saturday, 9/20

Saturday's show had an announced 1785 vehicles registered by early afternoon on Saturday, the big day for the show. Rumor has it that the host club may be considering setting a ceiling on the number of cars in future gatherings, as Saturday is getting kind of crazy. Here's a link to the ones that caught my eye - http://s86.photobucket.com/user/rlsp...%202014?sort=2

Takes a while to get through all those photos, Thanks for taking the time to share. Lots of nice Rods there and gobs of good ideas. As far as limiting the amount of cars, it looked to me that anyone who wanted their own tree to park under with lots of space had a choice. Instead I think they should double the amount of cars and let us all enjoy. Where was this located? I noted drivers, excellent builds, and super high dollar show items. Great mix.

Ray, the show is in Ottawa, KS which is about 30 miles south of me down I35. The Over The Road Gang hosts the show, and this was the 28th year for it, my fourth as I recall. Saturday gets pretty crowded, but there's definitely still room for more cars but not necessarily under the trees.

Some really nice cars there, and what a relaxing looking venue..........

It's always the third Saturday after Labor Day weekend as I recall, Ray. Register before September 1 and your name goes in the hat for a Chevy crate motor on both Saturday and Sunday (must be present to win, with your registered car on site), and if you live out of the area Hendrick's Chevrolet will ship the engine to the truck freight station nearest your home for free.
