Busy...
Hey,dudes...(and dudessess).. Yup,,coming and going.. Won't see much of me for a few more days this weekend,either.. Between my mother being in hospital for the past 10 weeks,,travelling to her town,,and now looking for a suitable retirement village for her,,and a few small computer glitches,,this weekend we have our National rod run, here in our town,,so work work work,,for the next three days,,(it's Friday morning here already)..Lynda is the official photographer for the event,,so I will see if I can coerce her to put up a thousand or so pix,,,sorry,,a couple of pix ,or a link to them..That might take a few days though.. Have fun guys n gal..See ya next week..Micah 6:8
If we aren't supposed to have midnight snacks,,,WHY is there a light in the refrigerator???

You all are in our prayers here too. It is no easy thing to do.
Enjoy the Sunshine -- we have rain looming Friday, maybe Saturday too.

Thanks guys, for your concern..It's been a hard few weeks,,actually,,months, now,,since most of this started to unravel.. Thankfully,it looks like a light at the end of the tunnel,,but I have reason to believe we are going to be going through a bit of hilly territory,,and this is only the first tunnel.. Ma is now in her own home with some home help coming in three times a day to help her where necessary..I spoke to her on the phone on Tuesday, and she sounded the best I have heard for months,,so the medication is also working.. Our next job is to travel the 4 hour journey to her place, and start to make it ready for sale, and her move down here to a rest home/village with the facilities she needs..
Oh yes,,the long weekend.. All good..76 cars,,180 people,,our bunch of dudes and dudesses, who put it all together, worked well at our tasks to pull off a good run that was praised by many.. The weather was also very good,,until Monday morning,,and it just HAD to rain,,as usual,,for the Monday..happens all the time.. A few small downers,though.. One of the members from the South Island, tripped and fell on some rough ground on Saturday arvo,,and landed badly,,breaking her wrist..Two bones, mind you.. She did it properly..Our hospital patched her up and put her in plaster,,but it was a very bad break,,(bone thru flesh,,stickin out)and she had to go through another op this week,to do the job properly,in Christchurch, where they live..
Photos.. There are a number of pix on facebook,,which I know a lot of people aren't members of,,but as Lynda was contracted to do the pix for the weekend,,she has said that she will upload some for you guys,,but if Roger Spears reads this,or Charlie, maybe, you guys can steal them and plaster them up for me,too.. Gotta go to work very soon,,so better get outta here..Micah 6:8

I hear you. Just take it as it comes and you get thru it, I guess life is all about adjusting to what ever the normal is. I'm glad things are settling down a bit for you.
