Yeah, watched the race on Sunday, it was crazy!!!! This new system creates a "must win" situation for a lot of the teams, I would imagine the race Sunday in Texas will be equally wild, no chance to make the final four now other then this race and Phoenix!!!! Definitely big time pressure on driver's and teams!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I agree and then add in the short track as a factor and it did get wild at times.
So Dale gets a clock for the first time and Jimmie J. won't get a title again. At least something new happened this year!

Smoke did the first 200 mph lap on a 1 1/2 mile track in round 2 of qualifying!!!! Knew it was coming, figured it would be Charlotte or Texas, man, a 200 mph average speed for a lap, that's flat flying!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

That's pretty cool considering all he's been through this year!
I wonder what will happen in the off season 'cause you know "they" don't want them going any faster.... 300 CID, here we come?

So far, all NASCAR has said is that there will be some changes in the engine rules..... My guess is going to be they'll step the performance on the Cup Cars back to near the levels of the Nationwide cars, that takes about 5 mph off them on the 1 1/2 mile tracks... Compression cut down, less on the heads. With the EFI on the CUP cars now, should be a fairly easy deal without a lot of expense!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

What a wild finish! And it was more exciting in the pits, seems Gordon didn't like the way he was handled.. so he resorts to fisticuffs
Both he and Keselowski ended up bloody.. from my couch the vantage point I saw says Bad Brad didn't do anything wrong. 'course all the Chevy drivers don't see it that way!
Gordon left a hole, Brad filled it and when Gordon tosses the block he cuts a tire... cost him dearly too I'm lovin' it!

Never did figure that deal out, maybe Gordon was mad at himself and took it out on Brad??? Brad drove into the hole, standard rule is if you're past the door the spot is yours! IMO he owned the spot! Wonder how Gordon will explain his actions after he watched the replay a few times??????Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Ditto! He opened the hole then tried to toss a block..
I wonder what Gordon will be charged for calling Brad a Dips_ _T on tv?
I was remembering what he (Gordon) did to Carl Edwards when he was running fo rthe million a few years back.. ran him right over then in the winners circle says, "I hope he understands that I was running for a million!"
Funny how his memory is so short when he is getting roughed up! And he caused it!
Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
