    Unless Ford did something different in Kiwi-land in '66, there's no way your brother's truck came with a 289. The only engine options for the F100 here were 240 I6, 300 I6 or the 352 FE V8. The 302 became a factory option for the F100 in 1969.

    Mine has a 302....or should I say fuel injected 5.0 from a '92 Mustang GT.

    You're right - the truck was imported a few years ago and somebody in the US must have changed it out a long time ago.

    I can't recall NZ getting '66 F100s new but could be wrong.
