And after 10yrs it finally happens again...........
Our son Joe & his family will be home for Thanksgiving for the first time in 10yrs. Been a long time coming, because of him once being a military man. The wife & I are very excited about it. It also will be the end of an Era for my family and kinda sad. Myself & my wife, our son & his family along w/my brother & his wife(wish my sis/hubby could be here) will be gathering at our childhood home for the last Holiday in the house this Thanksgiving. We felt it was a fitting tribute to our parents and the house for all the great memories we had/have while living & growing up there. We were the first family to live in the house when we moved to Cahokia, IL back in January 1960. There's still indentations in the concrete from the tires where the O'man got stuck trying to get in the driveway when we moved in.
It's going to be kinda bitter sweet but at least the family will be together this year. Oh yeah wish me luck cooking the turkey this year, it'll only be the 2nd time in 35yrs that the wife & I made Thanksgiving Dinner ...joeDonate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE

Either we are alone in the Universe or we are not.
Both are equally terrifying.

Tell him, happy thanksgiving, and thanks for serving!.
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
