Haven't seen this in a while.....
So, in light of recent health "adventures" my realignment of the car hobby has been progressing. We're making decent progress on the '36 roadster after some setbacks with the decade old (purchase wise) top mechanism that didn't quite fit up properly. We're back on track after some remake and replace of various components and yesterday we did a mockup with some material and tape to make sure we were dialing in. Next week we'll look again with padding and the rough cut of the actual fabric.
Last Sunday the '32 sedan left the home shop for some metal surgery, mostly rust replacement but also fitting of a later year Ford dash. So progress there as well.
And in a fit of "recognizing reality" I decided to send the '28 roadster project down the road. This week the complete chassis left on a trailer in one direction, the body in the back of a pickup in another. Now all that's left to say goodbye to are a pile of miscellaneous parts.
The '39 will continue to act as the "better beater" for now, but will likely be the next candidate to vacate.
So, here's a pic of what the garage looked like as of last night............don't think the shop portion has been that empty in quite a few years. Hmmmmmmm.......Last edited by Bob Parmenter; 12-05-2014 at 12:07 PM.

Cleaning up space is always good! Glad to here you're back at this one. Also don't forget to post some shots of the new Boss when it arrives. We expect burnout videos!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

You can see the '39 on the edge of the wide shot, that gets moved ahead later today to make a slot for the Boss (not to be confused with the REAL BOSS, that shot is taken from her stall), it's scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. That being said, I've got a sneakin' hunch that the transport company is blowing smoke.................I'm prepared for excuses and a real delivery some days away.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Glad to hear you're making progress. I bet seeing those pieces leave was a little rough. But it should help finish your other projects, and the shop space is always nice to have!Ryan

Like my place always dangerous to clear space, because the claim jumpers rush in and take over, not to mention the little back burner projects jump to the forefront!Last edited by stovens; 12-08-2014 at 11:13 AM.

Senility..........just remembered I hadn't answered your question Dave.
That left some years ago from the former Vegas house to make room for the black '30 hiboy............which in turn moved to Japan earlier this year.

Okay Stevie, just for you.........................proof that it takes it's stall (and yes, they were two days late delivering).
Burn out pics eh? Well, fortunately it wasn't raining today so I got to go on my first drive. On one stretch of open road nearby I was in second, rolling at about 30 and nailed it..............rear tires break loosesorry, no photog on the side of the road.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
