Muy Bueno, Pepi - - - - when I worked for Continental Oil Co. there was a Geologist friend of mine that flew one in the Big War and I could sit for hours and listen to his stories. Some of them involved him sitting in the ????pit and seeing an anti-aircraft shell come thru the floor and out the top of the plane. He also said that sometimes the plane would be so shot up it was in repair for almost a week and then back up they would go. TRUE Heroes IMHO and I never failed to tell him so..

Amazing how many holes would be in the wings a tail and they still flew em home. TRUE heros indeed, they had their metal tested a many a time.I have two brains, one is lost and the other is out looking for it
