Check Out The Buy It Now/Minimum Bid.....

Saw this on BangShift, with a story about the unique history of the first factory racer built by Chevrolet. It was '56, and there were three of them built. There's still a week left for you to grab this bad boy.....

If authentic that's on rare toy. Thought it odd they'd use Houdaille lever shocks in addition to the tube style, must be a story to that.

Aside from the loads of commentary that could be made about the car itself, I can't help but be suspicious of the pricing just from the notion that extremely rare cars like this, that have a large fan base, normally trade via word of mouth and don't have to resort to splashy marketing tactics. I suspect someone is reaching a bit here to test the market.........fishing as it were. If it's the real deal it will go to someone for serious coin, just a question of how much really.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Yep, I can't disagree with what you've said, Unc, and I have no knowledge of the authenticity of the car. Here's the BangShift Link that I saw that led me to the EvilBay listing - BangShift.com Corvette SR-2
