What's the project?

Those parts will be going into this 425 Caddy motor while at the machine shop

and then Pat, the guy I hired to put this beast together will be stuffing the rebuilt Caddy power plant into Large Marge. This has been in the making since 1993 & hopefully by July I'll be able to drive it out of the garage for only the 2nd time since I have owned it....joe

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Roger, I have seen several burbs/panel with Caddy mtrs, BUT that being said mine was at least a bit ahead of the pack since I was going to do it about 10yrs ago. The only reason it never got done was because of my health. Now that I can afford to pay someone to do it for me, it's full steam ahead. Waiting on the intake to arrive & the carb to be rebuilt before I take the motor to the machine shop that HWORRELL recommended here locally in St Louis, Mo.
Now I remember how a 12yr old feels when they see boobs for the first time.

Glad you've got the means to get Marge going again Joe. While you don't get the satisfaction of turning the wrenches yourself it will be great to have the ol' girl on the road to share with the family.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Bob, at least I can say I did help on it because if I can't climb under it I can at least be the "gopher" and hold things when a 3rd and/or 4th hand is needed. I'm just glad its finally getting done after all these years...joeDonate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE

That is a cool project! We had a 77 Cadillac with a 425 and it was a great engine. Large Marge looks to be in pretty good shape. Do you have a build thread on it here? Good luck on the project!Ryan
