Wow, it sort of shocked me when I spotted Richard’s post – I certainly didn’t expect to see anyone predicting the demise of CHR. I’ll admit to being guilty of having become a “drive-by” member on this forum. Over the past several years, 6 to 8 months have passed between me checking in to see what’s being discussed. 10 years ago, I would have been on CHR at least every other day. I’m not sure what happened with me, but it certainly wasn’t that I stopped messing with cars (I’ve actually been more active in my shop over recent years).
I really don’t know what spurred me to post today, except that maybe I’ve attended a lot of funerals over the past couple of years ... and in some cases I was lucky to have made contact with old friends before they were gone, and I regret that I didn’t get the chance with others.
But hey, I don’t intend to sound morbid – I’m sure there’s plenty of life left in CHR!!! I guess I just want to acknowledge that there are, and have been, a lot of friendly and helpful folks on this forum and I consider myself fortunate to know several of you guys both online and in person.

Not dead yet!
We sometimes take a side road that leads us to a new destination, that works in the long run, but bogs us down during the way there. I am at the crossroads right now. Divorcing(not my choice) after 19 years of marraige, but the future already is starting to lighten up, things I have sacraficed can now take a front seat, life will simplify and start to move foward again. CHR is a lot like this. I will get the 48 F1 done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Hang in there Sto, mine was after 42 years with my childhood sweetheart BUT LIFE DOES GO ON and happiness is in the LIVING.
Since no one else has mentioned it I would like to say that the Site is loading up fine now, at least for me it is.

I had written a couple of scathing posts when the site was either down, running slow and self deleting posts.
I'm not sure what the problem was, but I now agree with Em, the site right now is running as good or better than it has in quite some time.
