And the savings on the rental car and all add-on's will come close to paying for shipping it home! Of course, it'll be a bit of a premium from Boston because it will have to drop down through the Panama Canal, then on to Godzone, but it's only money, jb!

Would John's wife need to learn to hit him with the other hand?

Now that's a good point, Robot! There would be quite a fight to see who gets the RHD sedan, and who has to drive the new LHD sedan! Hadn't thought of that, but their friend Coxy can remedy that by swapping this one over to RHD if it's an issue. He's up to the task, from what I've seen.

Nah...we can't buy that...the body has been modified too much.
    That's a '47 - '48 grille in that...so it's not stock.

If that bothers you, then I guess the SBC auto and A/C is no good also Johnboy

Oh well, it seemed like a good fit! Maybe you'll find something at Country Classics in Staunton that you simply cannot live without, and it will ride the boat back to NZ ahead of you.....

The SBC doesn't bother me, ours had the original flathead when we bought it, replaced that with a 350 Oldsmobubble I had under the bench, when that got to the stage of filling it with oil and checking the petrol we put the ubiquitous crate ZZ4 with o/d 350 box in it.

As for A/C...we live in NZ; who needs it?
If you get too hot there's a little round button attached to a lever on the door card. Turn it clock-wise and it cools the interior quite well.
Simple to operate too...even I can understand it.

    I was being facetious when I wrote that; that's a '46 (the rectangular park lights tell me that,) with '47 - '48 grille...ours is a '47 with a '46 grille in it.

Here I am a little after 6:00am cruising down 680 interstate California, about mid point between where 680 takes off of 80 and Benicia bridge, when I come across a car that looks familiar. As I get closer from behind I can tell it is a 40something ford, getting closer I see the oaklaoma lic plate and realize with the yellow sedan this is the 34guy! As I'm going past him I slow and wave, but he has no way of knowing who it is. Small world..
