The guys I associate with are the "Ger er done" type,

    Don,
I know you didn't toss that out as an insult, but from what I witnessed in my travels around NZ the car guys & gals there are very much "Get 'er Done" types, and on a per capita basis their numbers are stronger than the USA - a larger percentage there than here and they very definitely get it done! It was amazing to me that as we visited places a guy working restorations would mention that he'd made two or three trips to the States to pick up a US car, then paid a few thousand to ship it home. Ross is a "....dreamer" by screen name, but he's got the car to prove his passion, and is dreamin' of picking up another, or two, or three as time goes by Ya' ought to take a trip down there to see it for yourself! Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

No insult intended Roger, just stating facts. Have been down under many times in the past 30 years, and have many friends down there.
2 years ago 2 of my mates flew to Florida and road out to LARS with the Grey beards.

    D for dollars.

    Ya forgot that!

Even a budget build need some but more so if you're like me where the 'S' in short supply - and if you don't have the 'S' you generally need more 'D' to pay somebody with the 'S' to do stuff that needs an 'S'! ;-)

Yep, even the best rural Police Officer doesn't get paid their proper worth, aye Scummy. Just don't mention what Care Givers get from this Government. Yeah, trying to build a Hot Rod can get expensive. Oh then there is priorities of raising a family too so yeah, some hot rods take more time. But the passion never dies, it may be just smouldering deep in the under growth of life.
